Funnily enough I was discussing this with my mate this morning whilst he was MOT'ing my bike ..... "so long as it is not marked 'Race' or 'Not For Road Use', and is not 'unreasonable' it should not fail, however the certificate is likely to be endorsed with an advisory (as mine was) that it is 'noisy'"
It would appear that with the new system they have a lot more scope to give "advisories" now, where in the past they would have had to fail a bike - i.e. very slight movement in a wheel or swingarm bearing, etc.
