Hello there,
I have almost left college and start UNI next year.
I live in looe (Cornwall ) and im going to be studying at plymouth UNI.
I am trying to think of the best way to travel in to uni.
I have many ideas such as a train or bus but these do not allow me to come and go as i like and also are very expensive as there are about 6.50 each day.
Also i would like to spend my weekends in plymouth so i can see my friends.

Recently i have thought about getting a bike to travel.
Would you reccomend doing the 17 miles on a bike or do you recon the bus would be better?
I have been looking at a Honda CBR 125 (Bran new)
Does this bike have enough power to do the journey?

Thanks for reading any input is most welcome:)

It is a very nice ride from looe to plymouth.

I'd definatly ride it. You'll get there quicker than public transport, and if your running a 125, it'll probably work out cheaper as well. In the worse winter months i'd probably get the bus in though!

***EDIT*** THe 125 will have more than enough power.

I'm doing my MSc at plymouth, I had a CBR125 and took it down a few times, otherwise I caught the train...especially when it was cold and p*ssing it! Go for the CBR125, they're good bikes..I think Honda should start paying me...
