Happy Sunday everyone
As a lot of you know I have waited a very longtime to ride my bike. 12 months almost, and now after passing my theory a couple of weeks ago I am going to do the CBT on Tuesday.
Can anyone give me any tips to help the day go smoothly. I'm feeling a bit anxious to say the least and it's only Sunday
Have read up a fair few websites but thought I would rather hear it from my own on SWB.
Cheers

Ride at your own pace, I'd say ride by yourself on a road you know well to begin with, try to choose a road/route with a little bit of everything.
Aim to be smooth in everything you do, at first this may mean you're slow but once you get better you'll be a better rider.
Last of all, and probably the most important..... You need to be doing stand up wheelies by the weekend ;)

Just chill out mate, it's only a CBT, just remember to get yourself sorted with plenty of time. E.G. If your turning left up ahead get all the bits out the way nice and early so you can manage it all and don't get overloaded trying to do everything at once. Good luck mate, i'm sure you'll do excellently.

The instructors will teach you everything you need to know, the first half of the morning will be off road training on the pad and they will teach you slow control, u-turns, emergency stops etc.... just try and relax and take in everything they are saying, if they think you are not ready they won't take you out on the road, however if you are, expect 2 hours road training and hopefully a certificate by the end of the day
Take plenty of water and try and have a good nights sleep as it can be a tiring day, you'll love it, it's what you have been looking forward to for ages....

As my CBT instructer told me...You have to be a complete retard to fail it. theres quite alot you will have to get wrong to fail it. Just dont crash into anything. Also they dont test you on the thery at the end so just do what I did and keep nodding and dont really take any of it in.

Just remember its NOT a test... Its just ...
Compulasry
