In my quest to save pennies and find a way to make ends meet, i decided to take it a bit more easy commuting to work.

In my amazement by short shifting, not useing full throttle and not pinning the throttle wide open coming out of bends, in the last 2 weeks i have managed to save over half a tank a fuel a week. This with the occasional race with a cage.

Thats over £5 a week min.

So i calculated say

£5 a week = £20 a month = £240 a year.

Yeah £240

That is a pair of tyres and a service or my kids xmas pressies paid for or even holiday spending money.

Sorry i know it doesn't take alot to amaze me but it ain't taking me any longer gettin to work and if i get bored i just try and carry more corner speed which in turn uses less fuel coming out the corner not needing as much throttle.

Just thought i would share this with you. £240 min a year

Stay tunned for more money making tips

I get this driving my BM to work... I'm usually going like 80-85 to get to work in the mornings, which makes my average mpg like 20.

If I leave 15mins earlier, and drive at 60mph, I can make that 45mpg, and can save £15 per week.. :D So I've started doing that now, fed up of using 1 and 1/2 tanks of fuel per week for only doing 300 miles + weekend driving per week.

try not to drink.....smoke(much)......

I would nearly half my food bill if i bought normal food not "organic" shit.

Hopefully will have a company van/car in 3-4 months so that will HELP and would then make my bike a toy only for the 1st time ever.

Cant wait!

Well i am nearly "T" total. Not touched a drop since last Sunday :?

Found this site last year and just gave it another go. He is a guest on Jeremy Vine's show on Radio 2 on Fridays.

Really is a great site and helps fiddle all the credit cards comps and domestic comps and loads loads more.

Give it a go
