Hello.

Just wanted to introduce myself officially. I have been a member of southwest bikers and have asked a few questions on the forums but now im oficially a biker.

Just got my first bike.

I was planning on taken my full test at getting somthing nice and restricting in to 33bhp because im 18.
However i decided to go for a little 125 for a while to get some experiance.

In the end i found a nice little 125 on ebay. Yes its a import.
But the keyword is that it was cheap. Cost me 500 bran new. Lovely bike. Single sil, 4 stroke. Sounds like a much bigger bike. Looks really nice.
Only thing i dont like is the Gearing. 5th gear is a little slow. it likes 45-50 mph but when i hit 60 the rev counter is almost in the red.
I pushed it the other day to 75 and it really didnt like that.

Im not looking for speed, i use my bike to comute once a day from looe to plymouth (some of you may have seen me)

ill post a pic up of my bike in the morning.
Give me a wave if you see me.

Thanks. Carl

Ed 20 on a TL S.
Good bike to learn on if your thinking of the sports side of bikes is a Honda VFR400R 1989 NC30.Amazing bikes mate.

Young, YOUNG! I'll have you know I'm 17 in 15 minutes time, 17! And also my scooter is classed as a bike as it's derestriced . You mentioned 'boys', there are other scooter riders here?

so your riding a bike with the incorrect licence, not valid insurance and would get raped in court.

£500 quid import? I bet it's Chinese and I bet in one month you will have a long list of problems with it.

Oh and hi.

I might be a bit biased, but not all imports are that bad. Piaggio and Gillera scooters are actually manufacturered in China, the biggest name coming out of China at the moment is Lifan who are partnered with Honda, so most of the bikes they make are old honda designs.

BTW - Welcome to the forums mate
