Sick of people bitchin about 2 stroke stink riding behind me. need to get some castrol R or A747. havent seen it on any shelves recently. of course livin in canada doesnt help.

dude, what the fook. who hates the smell of 2 strokes? never heard of such a daft thing. lol. who gives a shit anyway mate. [censored] em. they dont like the smell the will have to ride infront or just put up wiht it. the smell is lovely. u use mineral?semi or fully synthetic at the moment??

No 4 stroke should ever be behind a 2 stroke anyways. Something wrong with thier riding if ya ask me :lol: :lol: :lol:

2 Strokes smell gorgeous. Even heard someone on here who put a drop of 2 stroke oil in there 4 stroke fuel tank just to get the smell

love the smell of castrol r havent smelt it in years. curently trying few different kinds, like silkolene r30 motul 800 amsoil, tried em all need castrol, smells like a whores handbag, lovit. The old 500 ypvs is on premix.

To answer the question yes the still made castrol R got some last year. Should ba able to get it from a bike dealer or on line.

morris make good oil, their 2 stroke smells really nice aswell. runs well. bout a tenner a ltr.

maybee im just havin trouble findin the good stuff in canada, thanks people
lived in wareham for 20 years owned lots of bikes, moved to canada 12 years ago. Have my own bike shop now. Riding an 85 500 lc with an r6 twist. This seemed like a cool forum to sign up with.

ok thanks people, seems they still make it, but seems the only way to get it in canada is to import it from the states. gona hav to look into it further.
contacted the canadian castrol distributer, they didnt now there ass from there elbow. cheers matt.

try contacting your local RC model shop, ask if they either stock or know of local racers etc with A747


we use A747 in the fuel for the large RC cars, I wouldnt use anything else in them engines

failing that give me a location out there and will ask around for you, know other racers all over the world :)

I used to go to speedways just for that smell. "mmm the sweet smell of cancer"

Havent heard about any races recently though. Any of you lads have anything to do with speedway?
