Myself and Glen (Bartman) where on a rideout this morning, on our way down to Funky's for the BBQ and unfortunetly, Glen had a head on collision with a BMW coming the opposite way.
It happened between Newton Tracey and Alverdiscott and for anyone who knows that road it was where you have the ups and downs in the dips.
I was infront and Glen was behind, when after going up the last dip, he lost all control of his bike, it put him into a server snake and collided with a BMW.
The Air Ambulance was 1st on the scene and then the ambulance (and I would really really like to thank these guys, they are a credit to this Country)
Glen was out cold for about 4 - 5 mins before he came around and then guys from the air ambulance and normal ambulance took over.
He has sustained a fair few injuries but the main one being his right leg.
HIS LEATHERS AND BOOTS AND HELMET SAVED GLENS LIFE WITHOUT ANY DOUBT WHAT SO EVER, I KNOW AS I SAW THE REMAINS OF THE CAR HE HIT.
He is now in A & E with his girlfriend who I went and got.
Will keep you updated as and when, just back off up the hosptial now.
KEEP YOUR CHIN UP GLEN

I spoke to him for quite a while afterwords, he was ok, no injuries, but obviously very shacken up.
Just got back from the hospital, Glen was in Xray, Kelly, said they that he had broken the ball joint in his ankle and sliced through his foot causing his tendons to break, however, they say he will make a full and hopefully 100% recovery.

He was lucky to have you there.
Bleedin horrible and does make you think twice for a while about bikes.
I just rode back from Bournemouth and wasn't hanging about nethier. But all was fine till i got into Exeter and riding like your ment to when some stupid women walked right out in front of me. Ended up skidding up onto the pavement to avoid her.
Just goes to show we ain't safe out there.
Take care all.

I think what scared me the most was when i get to where he was, he was motionless and everything went into overdrive thinking the worst

Just got back from the hospital again, Glen looks a little better but going in and out of sleep due to the amount of morphine they are giving him.
He goes into theatre tomorrow to sort out the ankle and hopefully sew back together his tendons.
I told him everyone sends him there best and he asked me to thank you all for all your kind words.
Bondy, If you read this, I now know how you felt after what happened with Steve, and its not a nice feeling.
