Plymouth Mega-Ride Photo Opportunities 2008
Posted: Jun 4th, '08, 19:28
Hello South West Bikers,
Just wanted to let people know that I will be out and about on Sunday 15th taking lots of photos of the riders and the bikes for the Herald and other local/national newspapers/magazines.
However I would like to advertise the fact that one of my assistants and I will be up at Lee Mill, as well as at various positions along the route and up on the Hoe for some of the afternoon as well.
This gives any of the riders and friends/family the opportunity to view and/or purchase prints etc. of their day from me.
However I appreciated its not good form to join a forum or group to advertise yourself so I have tried to contact various members of your admin team to ask permission but I have as yet not received any reply. Given that the event is only just over a week away I decided to stick the post up anyway but if in anyway the advertsing offends or annoying the admin teams or members then feel free to have it deleted - no offence will be taken here.
It is also understood that this is a charity event and will therefore I will be donating 10% of all orders taken for the event to the Mega-Ride's chosen charities as well as offering a further 10% discount to any riders/friends etc that collect one of the RMP cards or flyers on the day.
So feel free to grab me if you see me for a photo or two up at Lee Mill or on the Hoe, as well as keeping an eye out on the side of the road - I should be pretty easy to spot in my Hi Vis yellow jacket but do not mistake me for a speed trap!
Ross Matthews Photography is a local business based in Plymouth and offers a large variety of photographic services from events like this to portraits and much more - information can be found on the website if you wish to have a look @ http://www.rossmatthewsphotography.com which is where you will also find the photos from the day.
So I look forward to seeing you on the 15th - lets hope the weather improves considerably!
Take care and ride safe.
Kind Regards,
Ross Matthews.
