Blueflame sell shortened cans.. just one big company I can think of off the top of my head..

Why not remove the can all together and run just off the header pipes?!

Can I do that with my Renegade carbons? That is, is it easy to cut carbon? I'm clueless on this. I'm imagining me in a tangled mess of loose carbon fibres and no cans...

Dont see why not mate! Carbon is easier to do than a ally can, easier to cut!

Masking tape round to mark the edge you want to cut, and cut so the tapes on the side of the pipe you want to keep, this should stop it from splitting out at the end.

Thanks for the tips you guys. :D

My cans are a little scruffy at the 'in' end. Just a few light scuffs. Chopping off that bit might tidy things up a bit. I hadn't really thought about doing that before reading this thread.

I guess the ally on the end is glued on? There's no rivets. How to get that off I wonder...?
