Just coming back along cowley bridge road by the speed camera doing about 45 or 50. No other traffic about. Police volvo was lurking behind the recyling bins

Pulled out behind me and followed me until cowley and pulled me outside the BP Garage.

My offences:

Mini Plate: £30
Illegal Rear tyre, Less that 1mm of tread: £30
Exhuast over sound limit: £30 ( They had a sound tester with them)

But luckily got let off for speeding

So yeh, ive learnt my lesson. Be on the lookout people.

Technically, a tyre under the legally required tread depth is worth three points.

I think its because its right on the edge really. 0.9mm in one place but 1.4mm in another

What is the exhaust you have? Is it race use only?? My exhaust on my R6 is loud but its fully stamped for road use.

The plate is due to this ANPR stuff (what size was it?)

As for the tyre, no excuse for that really. Especially on a bike.

Thats the the thing my Exhaust is stamped for road use but it hasnt got the DB killer in.

My plate is a 7 x 5.

And yeh i know theres no exuse for the tyre.

I suppose it is slightly Bike related as it's to do with a poxy local builder that did me a new bigger garage/workshop last December.

Had a barny with him over a bill that arrived 3 weeks after I gave him the final payment and "JOD COMPLETED" was written on the contract...

The Judge decided the Job was not complete and hit me with the claim from the Con Man Builder + Court costs + a load of stuff the Con Man added on

Guy's - if you end up in a similar position, make sure you write CONTRACT COMPLETE / CONTRACT AT AN END / CONTRACT FINALISED / NO MORE CONTRACT signed, dated by every one and the Queen!
But brace yourself just in case the Judge thinks otherwise

Wish I could swear here He might win this battle - but the WAR goes on

Delvey91, could you let me know more about the exhaust/noise issue:

1. What revs did they make you rev it to, to take a reading?
2. Were you riding the 250 in your Avatar?
3. What db did they do you for?
3. What did they say was the legal db limit?

And out of interest how high were your illegal plate letters - 64mm being the legal size?
