Si, how big are the holes and how visible are they? I have a mig welder and a bottle of gas ......... :80:

Equally, if it's visible, I have the number of a very good welder

May not be worth patching them up, I guess other places will be close to rusting through too. Then again, how bad can they get sat in the garage 8) lots of people make stainless steel replacements.

From what I remember the most important part is that they go 4-2-1 not 4-1 else you lose a lot of the mid range.

They have gone right up by the collar. 2 pipes, both will need patching quite alot.

Ss pipes are about £200 so won't be buying any of those.

£180 delivered.

Assuming welding doesnt cost much, it's probably worth patching it up, it isnt like it gets used massively especially in wet/salty conditions. Just make sure they get protected after its patched up.

That looks lovely,

I could get Jack to put some plasticine over it.

You will have serious problems welding that lot, you can form the plates around the exsisting pipes but chances are its just going to burn through the metal you are trying to join it too. a couple of years ago we patched up my Bandit downpipes and from a small couple 10mm dia holes it turned into several hours of chasing ever expanding holes. Also plating around that part of the headers could cause clearance problems for your collars.

Think its onto breakers and flea bay for second hand pipes I'm afraid.

Thats just my opinion though :D
