Belated introduction

Hi all.

I registered about a year ago but never did a post then quickly forgot about the site!

I did my CBT about July 2011, bought a 2008 Honda Varadero 125 shortly after. Last month I decided to book my Module 1 & 2 tests which I have passed so just have a ~33bhp? restriction but am not really bothered it's just nice to not be riding around with the L plate signs which translate to "please pull out in front of me".

I currently live in Dawlish and work in Exeter. Got into motorcycling purely for convenience of being able to park at work as I am unable to get a parking permit. Also its great for economy as I always return 86mpg at least and manage to get ~320 miles from a tank.

I was considering on getting either a Honda NC700X or a BMW F800 ST but think I'll just hang on to this bike for longer as its the cheapest transport I've ever owned.

Cheers

Ed

Cheers for the welcomes.

On further thoughts I might look to get a BMW F650CS. They seem a bit rare and look a bit ugly but they can be bought pretty cheap and I'd actually make money from selling my varadero. Seems like a reasonable power upgrade whilst still retaining some decent mpg.
