I was well impressed as I just decided to get a new road bike this summer. and was worried how much my insurance would be. As after a fe wyears I've lost all my NCB. But it came back as just over £100.

What did you get ?

Holy crap, I'm 42 on Monday and my renewal is due on the 3rd June, was quoted a renewal of £188 by Bennetts for my 675R, garaged, no points, +5 NCB. Hmm when I get home after this offshore gig will be shopping around methinks.

Have not yet got but looking at an old srad 750. as im getting fed up car sharing.

Mine are on a fully comp multi-bike policy, and that was around £240 this year, after taking the alarm off the MV & declaring the exhaust. Declaring all the mods on the TL are what causes the real issue - I could knock £70-80 off it was bog standard ......

I don't think age comes in to it too much, I'm 23 and paying £130 a year for my SV1000 with MCE. Sure it would be more if it were a GSXR1000 or similar but can't see the increase being too much!

Bandit 600 fully comp with 0 NCB passed in 2009 and I'm 27
