Hey I'm a new biker only just bought my first bike NC700s. I live near Exmouth looking forward to getting out and about on the bike when I can.
Came across this forum on a Google search and it looked the friendliest :)

Hello sjh
Lookout for the friendly rides, they tend to be well organised, fun and not too overwhelming ( also tend to treat Crewkerne as a roundabout that needs circling at least twice on every visit ;-))
Skippys Jennycliff run is also a goodun

Ride safe and enjoy ;-)

That bike fascinates me and may be a future option so I'd be very interested in your thoughts after owning one. I need a commuter with good fuel but not too much power or weight. Using my Scorpion 250 but that's 25 years old so you have to assume it will not cope with 25 miles each way with a fair bit at full throttle.

I think the only thing which is not quite right with the NC is the lack of luggage to make a dual purpose tourer and commuter but I guess that can be fixed

Thanks balki I'll look out for the ride outs sounds like fun and as I'm a new biker chick would be great to meet some fellow bikers.
I can't review my bike yet as only just collected it and it's my first bike so might take a while before I know what it is and isn't capable of doing.
Definitely looking forward to hitting the road nice bit of time out from being a single mum to a 6 year old!! :D

I like fun but I don't want too much;-) Sort of hoping they bring out an MT-4 some day. Having said that i haven't looked at the new Z300 yet and that might fit the bill.

You can go big DL, just don't pull back on the throttle. Why deny yourself the torque and comfort of a bigger engine?
