Not enough space for pics of my bikes (pre-date digital camera days!), here's a photo of a photo:
Layne might remember me hillclimbing this bike, won the Cornish road legal championship on it.

This is my last bike before my recent rebirth 4 yrs ago.
Lost it 1979 when a car did a u-turn from being stationary on the right hand side of the road. I was on a left bend, and had nowhere to go when he came across my bows so I dropped it low side. Car drove off, bike wrote off.

In fairness, probably saved you greater misery ....... Most of them imploded didn't they, thanks to another wonderful technological advancement - torsion spring valve springs?

Sorry, I only speak english. How the **** do you know all this stuff?
In those days, I had to be told to oil the chain and pump up the tyres occasionally.

My old CB 750 KZ. Taken around 1991

And about the same time, my first (and only) attempt at a custom build. An XS400. I didn't choose that model, I just had one. It was my commuting hack. It broke a valve guide so I took the engine out and had the head fixed. Then I thought I'd overhaul the rest of the engine. Then I thought I ought to paint it up and make it look pretty. Then I looked at the rusty horrible chassis and thought, I can't put that back in there.. And so it went on.. I got there before the hipsters.

His other hobby only requires one hand so has plenty of free time.
