Hi Everyone,
I am bike crazy and seem to have collected quite a few, I want to know about regular meets and ride outs. I do know about Hayle can you confirm if it is Tuesday eve or Sunday morning and does this still happen in winter.
There does not seem to be a main place where people gather or maybe I just don't know, are there group rides when everyone meets up, I am based near Helston.
Ian

I'm not sure who turns up at Hayle in the winter as I never even made it last summer. Portreath car park for an informal gathering most Sundays again not sure about this time of year. The Royal British Legion Kernow Squadron (RBL riders) had a very decent meet through summer last year but have been having some problems so I am not sure about this year.
Keep an eye open for the Jennings run later in the year which I think is the biggest ride.
Other than that if you see a post by Badger on this forum read it as he is great to know and will often organise something maybe at the last minute.
For me this time of year is about commuting and not much else.

Hi there and welcome to Swb.
If you find any Bike nights out there don't forget to post them up.
Have a look at the Run To The Bun (RTTB) on here as we will be passing you on that Rideout.

Hi there,
Whilst I live up near Exeter now, I am actually from Porthleven and still pop down quite often for a spin. I am also happy to meet up when I come down if you want.
Drop me a PM at some point and we can see if we can sort something out.
Cheers
Andy (Kresmor)

Hello Ian and Winnie, welcome to the site

.
Only just found time to catch up on forum life so bit late to the party

. If you are in Helston then best bet for bike meets is Hayle on a Tuesday night. It traditionally runs from Easter until end of September but tbh, if the weather is good , people tend to turn up on and off all year. Its at the McDonalds, by the A30 roundabout North end of Hayle. There are a few other bigger meets, Cornwall Services at Victoria is ( or was) on every Thursday Night, easter to Sept, but I haven't been for a year or so. There are a few other bike nights that happen, usually small though and mostly attended by those local to the area. Having limited time available due to work I tend to pop down to Hayle when the opportunity arises, but leave it at that.
Keep an eye on the ride out page, as the evenings get longer more people post up rides, if I'm heading to Hayle I will usually stick up a post or a last minute evening blast gets put up too.
Cheers and Welcome, Badger.
