Hi All, 27 from Somerset, brought my first bike summer last year a honda cbr 600rr few little extras like custom exhaust system and a power commander.
Just booked up for the track session at Llandow do most people trailer there bike there or just ride it? Anyone got any advice or tips for on the track? Any essentials i would need to take? Burger van down there!?

Llandow is a great day with SWB,

My advise would be

Check the DB of your aftermarket can so it will pass noise test.
Check over the bike to make sure its mechanically sound and good tyres tread or slicks in good condition
Buddy up with someone to hire a van for transport there and back (just in case) (but others do ride there and back)
Ensure you take enough fuel
Have suitable leathers (one piece or 2 piece with 360 zip)
Good boots and a helmet with gold sticker
Good gloves
Back protector

And just have fun, all of us on the day are of all different levels of riding and skill and always happy to help.

Road tyres will be fine for the day so don't panic.

Bring water.

There's a good cafe there.

Forgot about cafe, it's very good and good value.

If you do ride there and back you will be tired after your track sessions so be extra careful riding home; same applies if you van/trailer the bike.

And don't forget your driving licence for signing in........

Llandow is a really relaxed event & great place to start your track days. Get there in good time, the guys on here will give u plenty of help & advice. Relax & just enjoy.

Hi and welcome to the forum. Hope you enjoy it on here and great that your going to Llandow. Personally would recommend taking the bike up in a van or trailer but don’t think you have to go it alone as there will be a lot of people going up that will be more then happy to share a van.
