hi, was just wondering if anyone knew any good A roads with lots of twistys around the Bristol area?

Any recomendations would be welcome

Head from Bristol to Melksham, then Bath/Frome way, very good fun.

Other than that - north into Wales, only 160 miles to Aberyswyth in the middle waith stunning roads and views.

From Bristol, upto chew vally (watch out for the old bill around the lakes) then up to chedder gorge, down throu hitting the twisties, down to the A38 to weston Super MUD.

Cracking ride.

thanks for that, ill defiantly have a bash at that, ive always wanted to ride cheddar gorge as ive heard so much about it but didnt realise it was so close. I think that'll be the first ride :D

Some of my favourites, in no particular order:

A46 from M4 J18 to Slough
B4040 from The Cross Hands Hotel on the A46 to Malmesbury
A433 from Tetbury to Cirencester
A420 from Warmley to Chippenham

Further afield
A342 Devizes to Andover
Any crash you can walk away from is a good one

Looks like we've got sunday sorted out then ;)

I've been through the gorge in a car, lovely twisties as long as you dont ride/drive into the back of somthing.
