Ok boys and Girls here is a question for all the complete Track day Novices , well and everyone one else really as it will effect the track day timings.

I was asked a fair while ago to look into the possibility of splitting the 1st Novice session into 3 groups, ie, 3 groups of 6, with say 10 Min's each group so they can be shown the lines for corners and speeds on the track, now I am happy to do this, as a lot of people asked about it.

However, what does everyone else think, as this would make the 1st Novice session 30 Min's and not the normal 15.

The 3 groups would be as follows, If agreed by ALL

1st Session Group One Novices

Baskie
Little Loris
Leroy
Nick
Bimbo
TL Moose

2nd Session Group One Novices

Funky
Chris SP2
Billinom8s
Nige
Jono
Paul Saunders

3rd Session Group One Novices

Paul
Henry Bryant
Emma Henry
Chris 1127
Dynasangel
Peter A

I think it would be a good idea just for the 1st 15min session then run the others as normal

Don't realy mind but how about in the first session splitting into 2 groups of 9. then taking both groups out with 2 marshalls but maybe wait for a few moments for the first group to go.

Nine is still to many for the back riders to see the positions.

As this was my suggestion... Yes I think it's a brill idea...

Seriously though, 3 groups seems the best way to me, with Phil, Age and Rich taking a group each.

Phil, I think you misunderstood age ... he's actually proposing 4 groups, but 2 groups on track at a time, with a marshall each, half a lap apart :?

Baring in mind this is the first session only, and to give folk a chance to follow at a steady pace, I think it's a good idea, and if it's only two 10min sessions, it won't muck up the timings so much :?

I was the same, maybe even worse, after they called the novice group out.
Paying attention to the briefing, and following the lines,
Thanks to speedy, age, i was on cloud nine all day. :D

I was so nervous last year I nearly said bugger it and headed for home...

My advice... speak to the guys that have been before... that's what I did and felt fine after all the good tips I was given.

Guys to talk to = Tom R6, Speedy, Jay, Age, Webber, Dave, Dynamight and Blimey... 8) They'll be more than willing to offer you advice...
