Funny how you never hear of them until its voting day.

I just throw every leaflet away that comes through the door, as they are all just as bad as each other.

And if you had have gone & accidentally dropped your voting card it would be better to leave it on the floor than bend down in front of him

the trouble with that attitude is that the apathy allows the thick pregnant goldfishies in power to stay in power as their followers will certainly vote to ensure it, knowing that about 80% of the potential voters in fact wont vote

dont waste it, go along and vote for something completely different if you dont have a particular interest or inclination towards any of the parties, communist party or BNP anyone :) LOL

and with regards to just one persons vote, hell yeah it makes a difference, 500 people with that attitude in a small area could make the whole ot of difference

Well said 8) For all those that say what's the point, how many are also those that say "bl**dy government this...." and "bl**dy government that ..." Whatever your political affiliation, if you don't vote, you can't complain about those in power, and the decisions they make

Didn't bother...

Years ago the politicians used to say what changes they were going to make, and each party was completely different... Nowadays it seems to me they are all much the same, and what you like about one party doing is buggered up by another of their policies.

Watching the news last night and had a laugh at a statistic that said a majority of voters vote for Conservative in local elections, yet Labour are in power :?

I voted Lib Dems last time as they breed alcoholic politicians and want away with drink driving. You don't get more liberal and democratic than that!

Since I've been able to vote (not very long  ) I've always voted for the most outspoken group eg BNP or MonsterRavingLoonies because when the mainstream parties see those parties getting votes they get scared and sort their lives out.

The point about 1 persons vote making a difference i guess it does if everyone thought the same.

As moaning about who is power, Well we all would do that no matter who was.

The prob is we are in debt up to our eyeballs and what they give us in one hand they have to take in another to make ends meet.

I don't normally vote and i know its ingnorant.

But unless someone comes along with something that is totally out the ordinary like inforcing,

Annual /2/3 year driving and riding assessments

Restriting new car drivers like they do bike riders

Bringing back capital punishisment (don't get me started on this one, Balls to human rights and miss carriages of justice are a thing of the past nowdays)

The rest is going to be the same no matter who is in power but i prob could mention alot more if i put my mind to it but those are a few that come to mind.

We could only vote for Lib, Lab, or Con so I didn't bother cos they're the same.

I think if you can your better off voting for smaller parties like TheDangerousQuietOne (why did you have to have such a long name, had to cut/paste    ) said.

Although they might not win you can use it as a protest vote to get what matters to you accross, Greens if you wanna save the envirornment, BNP if you want to stop imigration/asylum seekers and get out of Europe, etc etc.

They may not win but if they got enough votes it might make the top 3 sit up and think about their policies.
