Harold Bartol of KTM has been quoted as saying he'd welcome a 400cc class in place of 250cc bikes in years to come. I can't tell you how long I've waited to hear that from someone at Moto GP level!
I think it'd be an awesome idea and would hopefully make for some attractive racing - not that 250cc is anything but.
What does everyone else think?
400cc Return to Moto GP Class?

250cc was the obvious split between the 125cc and 500cc when that was the biggest class...
Since it went up to the big class of bikes, I agree that 400cc would sit better between 2, as there's not a great deal of difference between 125 and 250...

We should have Four stroke 250 in place of 125 and 450 four stroke in place of 250 as they have in Moto X

theres not enough money to run 250 strokers and 400 4's. i personally think a 400cc 2 stroke would be the way to go,a real racers bike and would probably be as quick as a 800il4 round some circuits.
i love the smell and noise of those 250's. i can remember sitting in the grandstand above the pits at donington gp last year smelling the fumes as the bikes were being warmed up in pit lane.
