The snappers usually spend a lot of time at the Mountain and around Mansfield (the left hander at the foot of the hill after the Gooseneck) so you should get plenty of air shots - they've resurfaced it recently, when going through the chicane bit at the bottom don't hug the left too tight (ripples) and take a sweeping arc through the right and up the Mountain (don't apex it tight at the bottom, there's a bump there) - as you climb it, aim to go from left side towards the centre 'cos if you stay left you'll go grass-tracking after the crest. The double crest is less pronounced than before
but the wheelie technique is still the same; gas it up the slope (I use 2nd, but it's long on a track gearbox), feather the throttle lightly as you crest and let the bike's momentum lift the wheel, then catch it with the throttle and keep it airborne for 30 metres or more, letting it rev out in 2nd, feather the brake to shed a little for Hall Bends - DON'T get carried away with your wheelie prowess and miss the turn in for Hall by the clubhouse for you'll go across the grass and you WILL crash and possibly T-bone someone else too
carry 2nd right through Hall, Hairpin and Barn. The mountain's only one feature of it, Charlie's is the best corner, but take your time and learn it all before trying to set lap records - it'll seem really narrow at first but it's ok. Ask to follow an instructor round if need be.
To get serious air like Rea, Shakey, Harris et al you need to give it serious big licks up the Mountain, lean right over the front and most of all need to be extremely talented - best stick to one wheel up - though you can easily get a little air beneath the rear but trying to emulate those guys could get you a ride in the ambulance, and wind up all the other riders as you've brought out the red flags...
Enjoy it, it's the best circuit in the UK (imho....)

Hey deej
If you lived a bit nearer to north devon there is a road from barnstaple to torrington and about half way maybe a bit more
there is a bit you can jump we do it and get about 2 ft of air under us(hit it about 90) a bit better coming back to barnstaple
worth a look if you want to feel what its like
