Anyone know this person??

Post by Blimey »

Going around Exeter is a Black KTM supermoto with white rim tape.

Seen him or her leaving Marshbarton about 1630 yesterday and seen around a few other times.

I'm still toying with the idea of getting one of these and this one looks gorgeous, well at a distance anyway.

Just wanted to get a closer look and get some ideas and costs for all the extra's.

Mate i am my own worst enemy. I get bored so easily. Bought a new tent a while back. Got 4 tents now and one costs £400 the others range from £260 to £100.

Had my heart set on a Z1000 last year in orange went to Weymouth for a closer look but the seller peed me about. Just can't make up my mind.

Was in Bridge the other day eyeing up a Black K7 Gixxer 1000 with twin Arrow cans.

I hate having choice and having to make a decission.

Will be still on the CBr for a couple more years yet anyhow

ktm stock parts are cheap, such as plastics ect

best to buy one already SM'd or buy the SMR which is the KTM SM

they deprieate alot so you'll get alot of bike for your money if you buy a couple years old

servicing is easy to do, only take a litre of oil (EXC model) and done every 20 hours, the LC4 engine is more road worthy so best looking into those rather then a converted EXC or SX model

any question you want answered?

i dont own a SM but have a 450 EXC and thought about SM'ing it

an Arko pipe is about 250-300 new, but there about second hand on ebay abit, but look out for a bike with a few trick bits on.

idealy find a buyer who is a good bike machcanic and will have looked after it well, same with any bike

they're reliable , mine has never let me down and put 4k miles on it since march, just dont neglect it, servicing on these is very easy so no reason not to
