As for tax where does it go. Yes we have all the things Moosy was on about but they're getting worse. I think some of it goes into a pot and pops up in the budget just before election day, as for the rest who knows.

I don't mind paying taxes as long as it's used properly. They keep going up but the country never seems to improve.

I also think that things like the NHS are purposly being neglected so that the government have an excuse to privatise.

Back to fuel, if they're not carefull it will end up costing because people will be out of work due to not being eble to get there or redundance form lorry firms etc
We will have to arrange a slow YES SLOW bike ride just to prove a little point

And when we get pulled over for holding up the traffic we can say 'Its because its's better fuel consumption and we can't afford to go fast. You never moan at the pld people doing 40 in a 60 and 40 in a 30. We can't win, to fast moan, to slow moan'

I'm not against paying taxes because just like death, we'll never get away from it.
What does anger me is the blatent arrogance of officials like the Lord Chancellor a few years ago who refused to justify spending our taxes on wallpaper costing £2k per roll
Let's not even mention the burdon placed on us by the present Chancellor with the Dome and that fiasco, Black Monday, Black Wednesday, where do I stop...

Most people tend to forget all the small isolated incidents but they all add up to one hell of loading on us and ALL political parties are joined at the hip in throwing our money into black holes - anyone remember Northern Rock recently or is that another figment of my imagination :?

Come the revolution

This isn't a political problem, it isn't a 'big oil' problem. We are feeling the first and very mild effects of a geological problem. You can check for yourself here

http://www.lifeaftertheoilcrash.net/

or not as you please.

It helps if you can get out of the 'life will go on like it does now forever' mindset.
Don't bother with dumb comments until you have read right through and verified the information there. Then make as many as you like, assuming you still have a sense of humour :? .
