The Fishing thread

Post by svr-ash »

Being a fan of fishing, i thought i'd start a fishing thread were the fisherman of the site could all swap ideas, locations and show off there big ones 8)

I also thought it could be a good idea if we could compile a list of fishing lakes for something like the google maps

My fishing spot is Bake lakes near Trerulefoot roundabout, i got a season ticket for it this year so i'm planning on using it well

Biggest fish was a 14lb common carp on floating bread flake about a foot out from my feet on the treasure island lake but now i have my season ticket, i'm planning on breaking my personal best and hopefully gotting over the 20lb mark :D

Don't get the chance to fish much at the moment but am planning to visit Oak Tree Fisheries soon, as it's supposed to be quite good with some decent sized carp.

Used to do loads of coarse fishing till about 8 yrs ago, it was more expensive than biking with 2 matches every weekend but since i moved down here i haven't done much but i do fancy getting my rods out again. Anybody know any good river fishing round here as i do miss the rivers and running a stick float through and getting a roach or two.. :)
