I've got my ticket and thinking about riding up, any advice?

Yip. Be careful. Plod traditionally has loads of speed traps on the roads to the track.

With the amount of peeps currently dying on bikes this may go up considerably this year.

Also, for a better ride do not use the motorway. Add 3 hours to your trip and take the A roads. Only useful if you are travelling up on Saturday.

That said, if the weather is good I'm riding up!
