New to the South West

Hi all. I'm living in London at the moment but I'm moving near to Totnes at the end of September so I'd thought I'd say hello. I hardly know anyone in Devon ('cept me girlfriend) so it'd be nice to meet up for some rideouts and get to know a few of you lot. Anyways I'll do a bit of lurking 'til I move down there. As Arnie said: "I'll be back".

Hey Smiler! The Hornet's fine thanks (and still very orange!) I thought I'd really miss my 600RR but of all the bikes I've had the Hornet's the most fun and the pegs go down without even trying. I've not been doing much pleasure riding 'cos I've been back and forth to Devon but hopefully I'll sort that out once I get moved.

hi and welcome :D too much traffic down here too, but not on a 6am early ride 8) i'm about 3 miles from totnes, where are you moving to? :D

A friend of mine bought a cottage in Ipplepen but he's going to Tanzania for 2 years with the VSO so he's letting me stay there 'til he comes back. My girlfriend lives in Chagford so I'll be doing a bit of toing and froing between the two. Can't say I've noticed too much traffic whenever I've been down but I guess it's all relative!

Hey buddy, i recently moved up here in maidstone mate. You're right about the traffic, compare to here Devon is a ghost town... apart from the dreaded A380
