50cc ped to a ZX1400..

Post by Milky »

Ok.. theres a lad that i work with who has very minted parents.. he's 16, rides a ped. he hasnt passed any bike or car tests and dad bought him a 3 series beamer the other day  . Last week he saw my zxr400 and decided he liked it. today he came into work at sed his mum went out at the weekend and spent £5500 on a '98 ZX1400 for him. He sed he knows a meacanic thats going to restrict it to 33brake but if he cant he's gonna ride it un-restricted.

I had a chat with him on me break and sed he wouldnt enjoy the bike.. would probably dammage it trying to restrict it and will probably be dead within a week of riding it. This had no impact.  ..tawt..

What are people's views on this?..

I think he got ripped of for a 98 bike

Don't see how its any different to someone doing DAS and getting on a R1 or CBR thou for their first bike really.

They didn't make a ZX1400 in '98 ..........

In fact, I don't think they've ever made a bike with that model name ....... it's a ZZR1400 :?
