Ive just picked up a micron system offa fleabay, and was planning on fitting it this weekend. Anyone know/like to have a wild guess at whether it will go through?

unashamedly nicked from the ducatisti site as i havent seen it mentioned on here yet :P :P :P

peeps were complaining on there about the fact the day has been changed to 4 groups rather than the usual 3 without anybody saying anything or a explanation so heres alans reply

3 groups.....

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

UPDATE

My previous post regarding a change of groups was in an attempt to satisfy a high demand for places, together with a high demand for places in the Inters group.

It was our intention to still run sessions at 20 minutes by extending the length of the day and / or reducing the lunch break. However, the local authorities have rejected our requests for this.

Therefore we are returning to our usual 3 group format, with 20 minutes per session, but with the groups being :-

Novice - will be straight forward.
Inter 1 - the majority of Inter bookings
Inter 2 / Fast - a mixture of regular fast riders / ACU licence holders / DD racers.

I'll post up the final groups next week when Phil and I have done all the changes.

There will be opportunities to change groups but as each group is full, I have to find another rider to pair with you – i.e. if you wish to go to Inter 1 from Novice I have to find a Inter 1 rider to go Novice.

Signing on will be from 7.15am until 8.15am / 8.30am
Safety Briefing will be 8.30am until 8.50am

Inter 2 / Fast Group Noise test 9.00am and then on circuit
Inter 1 Noise test approx 9.30am.
Novice noise test approx 10.00am.

Novice classroom session - 9.00am - 9.30am

If you do not sign on / are late whatever you will miss your first session. If we do not hear from you by 10.00am then your place is automatically reallocated. There are no refunds.

Due to local restrictions Noise testing can not begin until 9.00am.

We’ve also looked at the opportunity of running a Desmosedici demo at the event. We have a friend who’s got a proper one – I spoke to Pembrey at our last event and they said with a bit of work, no problem. They’d get permission from the authorities regarding noise.

Unfortunately when our friend checked his diary it clashed with and event in Europe. He said no problem for 2010…..

I trust you all find this explanation acceptable.

We all look forward to a successful day

Yes, long way to come for 2 flying laps in the first session! Was in the fast group and managed to get about 100m off the track on a 100mph+ left hander. He looked fine and was straight on his feet, bike not so good - left hand clip-on, rear set and quite a lot of carbon mangled. Hopefully nothing more permanent than a few bumps and bruises. According to one of the guys I know marshalling, he got off line and couldn't get it stopped, despite quite an impressive rolling stoppie!

Hi All

As there's been a number of names changes I'm not quite sure who's offical SWB and who's subing for someone else. have tried to keep you all in Inter 1

rough list like this :

G Stubbs
J Bamford
C Burrows
C Potter
A Rushton
R Browining
S Scott

Is there anyone I've missed ? - as mentioned we may have names on the lists but not tied them up with SWB.

Cheers and have a safe trip up.
