Maybe I'll do a longer write up tomorrow. Four lovely dry sessions in the morning, rained after lunch, but dried out again. Went into the Fast group after all, but must had been a slow fast group because I didn't seem to be getting overtaken much, managed a 1:48, no idea if thats any good.

Bike went well too. Got loads of footage, which I'll check/upload tomorrow, but heres some quick pics we took. I guess the Pro pics will be up in a few days.

Had a great day ,thanks to Chris, Gav and a 13 year old blade :-bd
We got there about 10.30pm friday night,we were allowed into the grounds but not into the track, but there was plenty of grass to camp on,Gates opened about 6am,and we had the pick of the garages, impressed with them loads of electric points.
Never been to donny before, but thought the track was awesome, theres loads to learn, and with each session it seemed to come together better and flow more.I was pleased me and chris were able to hold our own in inters,my best lap was 2.05 so plenty to work on,especially after watching gavs vid #:-s
looking forward to going back there more than i have any other track, and trying to get my lap times down =))

once again thanks chris and gav for a cracking day.

What they said :-bd
Although only one of us was brave enough to go out for the one wet session after lunch 8)
What a track, From the exit of redgate, down the hill and back up and across the top to coppice, is like all your favourite bends in one go, but without anything coming the other way. God (if there is one) must have been a biker ^:)^
The rest of the track is alright if you've got a big bike, but the straights are hard work on a bike that had its finest moment in 1991  having said that, the last left hander back into the start/finish straight is technical and very rewarding when you get it right (its the only left hander where I could get my knee down :)) ).
Again a great day and thanks to Gavin and Gary for excellent company :-bd :-bd

Excellent Gav, coming on nicely. :ymapplause:

I do about the same with traffic and best of 1:46.2 on a clear lap. 45.8 if I could hit my optimum.
I always thought fast group would be quicker too but only found regular race guys come past now.

Still can’t overlay Racechono thou.

Chris wait till you can get your left knee down through Craner at well over a ton :-ss
#152 Straights are for fast bikes. Corners are for fast riders

Thanks Layne, my benchmark is to always get within 15secs of your times but to get within a few secs of a middle age man riding around on some mid 90's 750 is a nice feeling  8) must try harder  knee down all the way down Hollywood then Craner was my highlight. Did cross my mind it may hurt if I crashed though.

I'll show you how to overlay Racechrono and give you the correct software.
