It was quite quiet down there this evening.....

Bad weather must have put most folkes off!

Good coffee though and had a good chat!

Teignmouth can be a bit of an aquired taste. With attendance from differing clubs/groups you can end up wandering round like a lost sheep wondering if there if anyone you might know from the forum is actually there......

It's clear wearing a pink carnation down there would get you recognised but probably the wrong sort of attention..... :ymsick:

It's looking a little wet for tomorrow but I'm hopeful of a run down regardless.

Don't care who you are, how much you have, how powerful you are. You still sit on the toilet with your pants around your ankles. Yep, it's a level playing field..

I actually lived in Teignmouth for 20 years, 8 of which just behind the station!!
I just found it a bit overpowering with half a dozen marshalls bossing everybody about, wasnt allowed to park my bike in one of the car parking bays as i actually thought that what they were designed for, I only give to local charities so wasnt keen on buying anything etc etc. But i also only visit paignton bike night once a year as more interested in riding bikes than wandering around staring at them!! and as you said not knowing anybody there didnt help so spoke briefly to somebody i did know who felt the same and we both buggered off home!

But Im sure its a great venture and old farts like me wont make a difference :D :80:
