EDZ???

Post by Red5 »

When we went to Wales a few weeks ago, some of you were wearing an EDZ base or mid layer. I'm looking on line for the same thing. The one's I can find are windproof but don't specify fleece lined. Want to make sure I get the right one. Does anyone know what it is actually called and whether or not it is a 'base layer' or a 'mid layer'??

Hope people can help.

Don't care who you are, how much you have, how powerful you are. You still sit on the toilet with your pants around your ankles. Yep, it's a level playing field..

Try here for explanations............... http://www.edzlayering.com/motorcycle/3 ... ystem.html

I use the merino wool 2 piece base layer both in winter and summer (stops you getting sticky and sweaty)and the windproof innershell in the winter (looks like plastic bin liners) but excellent at keeping the wind out (and in!) which goes a long way towards keeping you warm, especially if you have vented/perforated leathers. Usually just wear a sweatshirt between them during winter riding.

Nick, its the Innershell (or bin bag) thingie I got....packs into a tiny bag so great for putting it under your seat! As Scorcher said, its a windproof layer...really effective, I've used it LOADS...(I noticed that the Police had them too when I did my Bike safe day..)
