Look in here for local ride outs...

Forum rules
You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

Just a few other helpful notes to those new to the RttB:

The stop at St. Austell is a 24hr 'Card only' garage, there is also NO toilet !

If desperate let me know and I'll incorporate a stop on the way to Lands End.

Due to traffic always building after 9am, we want to get going fairly promptly from the Brekkie stop, so I'll give a few timely reminders. Also we re fuel at the Tesco on the outskirts of Penzance AFTER brekkie stop.

I'll be wearing my SWB hoodie, with BadgerKdd on the front and riding the Black older Gixxer:

with a clear screen though......

Big thanks to Kawasakiracer for doing the TEC.

we will be using the DROP OFF SYSTEM, if you aren't familiar with this way then please ask. Make sure you are aware of who is the TEC. He will be wearing a bright yellow vest and riding a nice big BMW.

I've fed the bike keys and credit cards to the dog. That'll stop me !
Hope the weather is kind, have a fabulous day all.

Ok I've had a pretty serious look at weather forecasts for Sunday and the best I can say is, early run from Exeter to Penzance will be dry and mild, as we continue back towards Bodmin /Victoria it should stay dry but possible shower then by the time you get to Jaspers for lunch you could start running into heavy showers as you go further North, Exeter and Beyond. They are marked as showers though, so that could be anything from a quick visor wetting to torrential downpour for twenty minutes or so.

So, its dry down to Cornwall, definite possibility of wet-ness going home.

I'll liase with Si and we will come up with a yey or nay by later Tomorrow, but will be watching for updates in the next 24 hrs. Bear in mind also that often the weather comes in 6 or so hours earlier than forecast in Cornwall, due to being stuck out into the Atlantic. :D

Cheers, Badger.
