I didn't realise how badly my suspension was set until Billinom8s spent 10 minutes adjusting it properly.
The rear had been bottoming out and generally the bike had been 'wallowing' even though it was set to standard levels and I only weigh 11 stone.
The ride now ( with & without pillion) is vastly improved and I don't just mean the better feel on uneven roads. It is noticeably different on cornering. Also the on/off throttle on cobbled type roads is less severe and probably looks less like I'm trying to 'kangaroo'.

It does play a big part! Even more noticeable when riding enthusiastically when the bikes skipping and bucking.

One of the first things that should be done with any bike!
