New tyre needed
Hello all, I need to change my back tyre so i went to guppa p in Plymouth. The guy there recommended the Metzler z6. Does anbody have these and what are your thoughts? I'm still trying to build my conifidence in the tyres when cornering. Do these offer more grip? I've read that the tread are cut deeper on these so as not to lose milage. Your thoughts please.

The Metz Z6 seems to be the tyre of choice at the mo on the SV forum.
If I was getting a new tyre that's what I would be going for.

Skez
I found that I liked Avon Azaro's AV45/46 which wear well and give good grip both dry and wet. They also give free tyre replacement if you puncture within the first 1000 miles
I am considering the new Z6 and have heard good things about them on the Trumph board.
When I was costing tyres I found that its not worth buying them on line as the price was more than going staright to Gupa P Protyre. They wanted £150 fitted to loose wheels which is very good and my tyres are 180/55/17 rear and 170/70/17 front. I have a Abba prostand for getting the whole bike securely off the ground if you need it.
BTW James K4 SV is sitting in the garage if you want to come and look later.
