Cool, this is looking to a bit of a gathering.

Does anyone know if the parking situation has changed there? Heidi hear rumours that they were trying to stop bikes parking at the island part where the huts are, did this happen?

I guess lots park up near helmet City though.

Went there a few weeks ago and there were a couple of bikes on that island, but no idea whether the parking police nicked them or not.

Wot he said.
I was 'passing' (near enough anyway, :) ) on a recovery job four Saturdays ago and called around for a tea and a nose. Plenty bikes there, all facing in on what looked like individual triangle shaped parking pads. Center of the island is a no-go bike area - ped's only. I saw no sign of any parking meters so assume it's still free. Only thing I'd say is that there's a bit of a kerb from the road to the bike parking spots, didn't seem a problem for anyone there though.
Google earth won't tell you anything, it's still showing the old layout.
