Biking Roads Website

Post by cornish_pasty »

Hi,

I just saw that one of your members tried to post a link to southwestbikers on http://www.bestbikingroads.com . The link didn't work, but I have updated it so that it does now.

I just thought I'd take the opportunity to let people on this site know about http://www.bestbikingroads.com as it is quite new.

It's basically a knowledge base of biking roads in Europe which allows users to add and review their favourite roads and retrieve the favourite roads in other areas for ride-outs/holidays, etc.

I hope you like it, it's offered totally free and it took us a while to build it. If people contribute their favourite routes and review others it will become a nice resource for bikers.

Maps of the routes are generated dynamically and there is also the possibility to add the start and end GPS co-ords for your route if you like.

Have a look and see what you think:

http://www.bestbikingroads.com

I hope you find it useful.

Not such a great idea when you think about it. It will certainly allert the local councils on where to check speed limits. Where do think the mobile speed camera tax collectors are going to head for on a pleasant summer's Sunday afternoon?

If you want to find good routes try looking at a map.

Keep your good plod free routes to yourself and your mates.

Bump,

500 members and 230 routes in total, seems to be growing nicely.

I have added a few nice routes on there recently (I was in Spain and Belgium) take a look if you want
