Forum rules
You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

Just in case anyone has forgotten, the route is

From Lee Mill, (near Ivybridge)
Via Cornwood (near Ivybridge)
Dousland (near Yelverton)
Princetown, Devon
Tavistock,Devon
Callington,Cornwall
Launceston,Cornwall
Lewdown,Okehampton
Sourton Down,Okehampton
Tavistock,Devon
To Plymouth/Jaspers

Its 88 miles on the route-planner, and is a twisty route in places.
I hope we don't all get lost on this one as its a little complex in places.

Main points to remember.

We are going from Lee Mill across the Moors up to Yelverton (exiting out at Dousland where the Burrator Inn is).

From Dousland(Yelverton) to Princetown

From Princetown to Tavistock (B3357)

At Tavistock, head to Callington (A390)

When you arrive in Callington, take the A388 towards Launceston.

IMPORTANT BIT

At Launceston, go OVER the A30 (do not enter the A30), staying on the A388.

Continue on the A388 towards Polson, Lifton, Tinhay and then to Lewdown (This is the OLD A30 road and a better route than zooming up the new A30 towards Sourton Cross)

At Sourton Down (A30 Service Station) head South on the A386 to Tavistock and Plymouth.

I hope I've got that right....And hopefully no one will get lost, lets try to wait for each other at key junctions etc and have a good ride :D
