I don't like bonfire night either because our poor pooch nearly has a coronary as he's so scared of the noise of the fireworks.
I also wish that people would not set off fireworks before (and after) 5 November too....
Growing old is mandatory - growing up is optional.

I was working so didn't see many fireworks, only the ones on my way to work
