...for deciding to close the back road from newton abbot/milber to Torquay for the next month. This means that every morning and evening all routes between Paignton/Torquay and Newton Abbot are barely moving at a crawl. anyone thinking of using hamelin way to go towards the newton road in the mornings, dont even bother - it took me almost an hour to travel about half a mile yesterday! Even moles lane was tailed back this morning, and coming in from exeter the traffic was queued up on the A38 from penn inn back to the Dawlish roundabout!

Can't even take my bike home from the garage and use it for commuting cos its not covered against theft at my home address :( plus the back lanes to Chudleigh dont get gritted so would be great fun on a twitchy 11 with all the ice theres been this week :(

what about cutting down through abbotskerswell to edginswell and getting to torquay that way ... lanes are very tight in places, but might be quicker
my mind not only wanders ... sometimes it leaves completely
