i'll have to have a look then morts!
and why will you be at the back bikerbird??
i know, why don't we just switch every now and then! and it is dependant on how many people we have remember, if it is upto ten then we will just ride anywhere and get people to point out where they would like to go next, but if it is a reasonable sized group then it will be a set route with a couple of people at the front, and we go at the same pace as the slowest (except around corners!) but everyone will be able to say where they would like to go before and i'll work out a route (GPS rules!!!)
i'm sure you get my point!
and you are more than welcome deano, more the merrier!
so lee if you want to be up front then you can help me work the route out and then you will know the way, ok mate! and sod your full licence..... keep the 400!!!

Did you get your bike from Elliotts in Cricklade, then? I too have the NC29 - from Elliotts when I lived in Berkshire. Originally I'd tried to get a VFR 400 but ended up with the CBR400 (Gullarm) which I believe is the BEST 400 of all the models - certainly has the lowest seat height (I should know I tried them all one afternoon at a 400 importers near Gatwick!) I've had her nearly 5 years now, we've been on a couple of track days - Darley Moor - and over to France twice and the Picos Mountains in Spain last Sept. Hope to get back to France again later this yearBikerbird wrote:I ride an 1992 NC29, she's black with red metal flake. I look forward to meeting you at the karting!

mine will be full power soon, back to stock but i won't be doing 115mph!!!
do you find that the throttle feels kinda on/off power angel???
if not in top gear work the throttle slowly and you'll see, the first little twist will do all the work and get responce from the engine and the rest will do bugger all, no responce from the engine what so ever, that is why cough oops!!!
so when i go around corners i will be in control and have a responcive throttle throught the range, and not find that next minute i'm in the other lane, woo look car........... ouch!

Which ZXR should I bring? Tuned L1 or the sexy L3?.. just cant decide
Haha.. seriously though, when riden right, the 400cc range is very similar. The ZXR is noticiblity quicker, and the NC30 is tricked up, the GSXR400, when setup properly (most arent) are very, very fast. Never had any experience with CBR400's, but I'd prefer one over a V4 NC30. The RVF400.. just toooooo expensive!

bring which ever one you want to mate, well which ever one you don't sell that is!!!
well i haven't really seen the other 400s going so i will soon find out, and true the nc30 does seem expensive but are very nice!
we will find out from baskie about the GSXR400, mine the NC23 Tri-Arm once done by GF (it will be before the ride out!!!) and you with ZXR400, bikerbird with her NC29 Gull-Arm and the list could go on, shame i'm not on duracell batteries though!!!
any roads you thought of yet
