Teenage biker hurt in crash...

A Devon teenager is in hospital with head injuries after the motorcycle he was riding crashed into a parked car.
The accident happened in Ridgeway Road, Milber, Newton Abbot, on Thursday night at 10.20pm.
The 17 year old. who is from Newton Abbot, was riding a 50cc trials-type motorbike when it collided with an Audi TT car.
The teenager was taken to Torbay District Hospital with serious head injuries.
He was later transferred to Derriford Hospital, Plymouth, where his condition was described as serious but stable.

lucky he's ok! :D

we all learn by our mistakes and we have all been there - except i have not crashed in to a parked car!!!

......however i did crash in to a sign post on my DT80, and i guess that was not moving!!! :shock:

poor lad, lets hope he was legal and wearing the right gear. seen too many teenagers who think its not cool to wear the right gear. Cars hurt !!! especially stationary ones.

There again, if you see the quality of some of the instruction they receive.......

I was going down to Marsh Barton today via Countess Weir and saw the most amazing piece of stupidity, from a so-called professional :roll:

It's hard to explain to those who don't know the location, but for those that do:
A riding instructor (for a well known East Devon training school, initials DH) was directing two pupils (on 125's) out of the Shell station, across all four lanes of the dual carriageway (rydon lane) to go along Topsham Road towards Topsham :roll: The one leading nearly went into the side of a car coming down the hill towards the roundabout, and the instructor and the second learner nearly got T-boned by cars coming off the roundabout. That exit is clearly signed "left turn only", and the centre of the road has double white lines.

You see plenty of other idiots doing the same, but rarely a "professional" who should know better :shock:
