Post by chrisjb »

Can anyone suggest good place for exhaust for my ZZR1100, should I stick with the standard set up or should I go 4 into 1. Have searched the net and still at a loss, not sure what to do. Any suggestions please guys

there are a couple of places that do custom zorsts if you cant find any - usually in the back of bike magazines.

Cheers for the input guys, I probably will stick with the 4 into 2 for looks wise as agree do look more balanced, just have to find one and up to now only decent one Ive found is the Motad tho there is a Predator on ebay but seems a bit pricey at £520, best I keep searching

Try Renegade exhausts:

http://www.renegade-products.com/

Had one on the R6 and SV. They sound the nuts and aren't too pricey

Cheers Cheggars, they do look very nice. Further on the Predator system, if bought from there website its only £495 and free delivery. Same spec ST/ST as Renegade but hell of a price difference, hmmm ! :?

as a general rool it was 4 inti 2 for torque and 4 into 1 for BHP. but mu knowlage is verey old had now but i will say i like the look of 2 cans on the back of a bike.

but i have a 4 into 1 remmus big bore full system in my ZZR1100D1 and have no flat spots or problems. i think if you are looking foe a exhaurst on the cheep you are best off keeping an i out on ebay but thay alwase seem to be almost as much as a new aftermarket one.

dont forget to get it set up right with the jetting on a rolling road if posible.

Go to Laser and get a stainless 4-1 system and carbon can for £439 inc. VAT

There is a link to the product spec sheet.. I was going to put a Laser ProRace with the stubby can on my ZXR400L.. but they dont make one, so settled with Scorpion system.
