just been out with jewell, whitetrash and jim from SWS and they were trying to teach me to get my knee down on a roundabout. still cant [Censored] do it!

dude, easy, keep ur speed up hang off the bike and wack those pads on the floor. u should go down to wrigly's round about in estover. thats were we all go, round abouts are good, cus u gradual;y get ur speed up and go lower and lower with each lap. go for it mate, believe inyoursaelf

The only adivice i can give is use the throttle smoothy on a roundabout and build up your speed gradually while leaning the bike further, lock your offside knee into the tank and get ur arse off the seat, wen u think ur close just push the bars the opposite way to the way you want to lean and bang ur knee will go down, just dont push too hard or the rest of you will go down too.

It was a certain Mr Barry Sheene that started this craze in the seventies I beleive,the story went he was pissed off with grounding bits of his bike, so he used to stick his knee out and when it touched the tarmac he knew he was overfar enough, since then thee have been all kinds of other things said about it like creating extra drag to help around the cornner etc, but have you ever watched ice speedway, bikes lying over at incredible angles, big spikes on tyres like a circular saw blade going around, Knees tucked in under the bikes,you would not want your knees or feet stuck out with those spikes going around,

Yeah i like that idea buddy. Havn't got my knee down yet but i came bl00dy close last night, but i just try it on normal cornish roads, never thought about doing 20 odd laps of the local roundaboutDynaMight wrote:Just do what real men do.....Use a sander.
