Thanks for the update Funky and Kelly :D Andy phoned me to tell me about the "extra" injuries earlier  sorry I couldn't stay longer Funky, but I had arranged things for the afternoon ......

I think all folks concerned at the scene deserve a pat on the back - good job done by all there :D The paramedics were nice and prompt, and good blokes, and it couldn't have been luckier with the amount of medically trained people who were passing and stopped ....... I think the idea of flowers for the "nursey lady" is a great one, and will be happy to chip in perhaps we can do something wednesday? Also perhaps we can get a "Get Well Soon" card passed around and signed ?

Whoever it was (sorry I can't remember  ) that took the photo's at the scene needs to get them on a Disc or printed out and off to the Police, please - Funky has the contact details.

I'd also like to say a word for Bondy - he put some good effort into the ride, and was understandably upset (shaken?) at the turn of events .... ya still did good mate :D

Get well soon Sniffy :)

To be honest I didn't want to have to repress that image for the next 60 years! he he

Got a text from the 'nursey lady' just now:

"yes come and see me and my girlies it's café clemence, mill lane, lyme regis. I'll go in and see steve on tues. I hope he's going to be ok, I'm sure he'll be ok. Really good to get updates about him but have been busy all day but now drinking fizz and mellow but probably not as mellow as steve on morphine. Keep in touch and come see us at the café. X

I'm thinking a few of us should make a lil entourage up to there...girlies...how interesting...

Sorry to hear about today - missed it as I was up country... Hope all goes well at the hospital and that the recovery is swift and as painfree as possible.
Well done to everybody - sounds like a great team effort!
It was a bit of a week - a mate of mine rear-ended his bike on thursday and wrote off his brothers Golf GTI yesterday!!

All the best Sniffy, hope you're OK.
Dan and Faye

P.S. Faye is friends with the Air ambulance pilot (Nigel) that collected him from the scene. We can pass on any messages anyone wants to get over to him...
