Biker down on A39 - He Didnt Make It

Hope it ws not somebody here, just got back from Bideford, there was a bike down at downwater on the end of bucks straight ( the dip between bucks cross and the hoops inn ) looked bad it had collided with the side of a car 2 ambulances in attendance , be careful do not ride faster than your guardain angel can fly please folks,

I'm afraid that I have just listened to the Local new and it is with regret to inform you all that the person didn't make it, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

R.I.P and thoughts go out to your family :cry:

Very sad news. RIP

I was around that area last night caught up in all the diversions.

I have heard today that the person in question was wearing shorts and a t-shirt and that their helmet fell off.

I'm not saying that this caused the death, but it serves as a reminder to us all: if your out for a ride, wear the right gear.

RIP biker dude.

The police were back there today searching up the hedge very high for something, RIP, I must have passed the scene just after it happened, they closed the road behind us i beleive. the bike was certainly some mess. looked like the bike slid sideways into a car
