The tyres are right next to the bike! it's just the wheels that are a few miles away. :( Besides I'm planning on doing a hover conversion.

Anyone can go fast around corners........its speed in a straight line that counts.

Used to have none on the 7, bought the balde and I've only really seen damp, freezing, fog filled late nights on it, so my chicken strips are so big I think they overlap. Plus the rear tyre on the blade looks a lot steeper profile than the old 7, reckon you'd get the bar ends down before you ran off the tyre.

careful when you do start gunning the blade matey. It runs out of ground clearance long before the 7R. Well pre 2000 models do anyway. Spend a few quid on new suspenders and a jack up kit.....superb and makes you quicker than a dynojet kit if it is set up right

Well, that'll be my bedroom toybox sorted, but a little off topic innit?

Shorter wheelbase, less weight, and thinner tyre on the blade means it doesn't need the same angle of dangle to carry the same corner speed as the 7 anyhow - and ground clearance ain't the issue at this time of year. :)
