Forum rules
You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

Xmas Ride out 28th December

Post by Tvrv37 »

I'm going for a ride out to relieve the excruciating boredom of Xmas to the New Year. It'll be Thursday 28th depending on the weather so may get cancelled closer to the time.

The ride will start 10am be fuelled and ready to go at Wellington Shell Service Station TA21 9AD It's next to a McDonald's so you can grab a pre-ride coffee. The exact route will be weather and road condition dependent. We will head off towards the coast and grab coffee and a bite to eat in Watchet/Blue Anchor/Minehead area depending on what is open then head back towards Cheddar and up into the Mendips via Cheddar Gorge. with the rideout finishing at Taunton Sainsbury's mid afternoonish. Sorry to be so vague but some roads are nothing short of scary this time of year and we can cut short or lengthen the rout on the fly dependent on prevailing weather conditions.

If there are no names down I'll pull the start point back nearer my home.
Honda CB1000 GT (on order), Honda CB1000r, Aprilia Tuono V4R for the track, Yamaha RD250E,

Sorry Phil, can't make this one, still driving back from Sussex on the 28th.
Weather's looking good for this coming Sunday however and I'll be posting a ride up tonight if you're interested.

Not to worry, weather permitting I should see you at the petrol forecourt Thursday for the 10.00 start.
