A friend told me that all browsers have a private settings function and all history or selected sites can be easily deleted, now I don't know about that obviously. Do your research

What you haven't said is what web browser your using? Advise and can update the below

Assuming that your using Google Chrome for the moment.
To get rid of your current browsing history then :-
1) Go to the menu area (this is 3 little dots at the top right of the screen)
2) Click on History
3) At the left of the screen click on clear browsing data
4) You then get asked what you want to delete. Read this carefully as you might not want to delete everything once happy with what your deleting then click OK. Job done

To stop you from having to do the above:-
1) Go to the menu area (this is 3 little dots at the top right of the screen)
2) Click on "New Incognito Window"
3) Go to your favorite porn site
doing this will mean that you do not have anything showing in yur history and will not remember that you have visited this web site. However if your wife / partner / etc is a bit tech savy then might want to delete browsing history as well as there will be cached files on your hard drive from the sites you have visited so if you want to be really careful then do the extra delete as well.
