Re: A30 Cameras
I also had another incident yesterday when I was following a 4X4 towing a trailer full of sheet plastic and cardboard. A massive sheet of plastic came out and I had to swerve to miss it. At the same time a big piece of cardboard looked like it was going to go, so I opened up the throttle and got pas...

Re: A30 Cameras
Hi all,
Thanks for that. Yeah I know there has been a camera at Pathfinder for a while, but they were recently resurfacing there and a new shiny yellow one has gone up.

A30 Cameras
Hi all, I popped down to the Lauceston area from Exeter this afternoon and on the way back the wind was howling up my arse. I looked down a few times to see that I was doing 80mph and then backed it off to 70-72mph but the same thing happen a few times on the way back. It kind of got me thinking how...

Re: Under leather base layer
I picked up some cracking merino wool base layers from Aldi last time they had their cycling stuff on offer. Whilst they were made for cycling, they worked well on the bike too. Sadly in January whilst cycling to work, I got hit up the arse by a double decker bus. I was knocked unconscious and when ...

Leather alterations
Hi all, Does anyone know of anywhere that I can get some alterations done to some leathers in the Exeter area? When I came back to biking last year I bought some leathers from Bikers Gear in Wales. Given the cost, I was really happy with the quality. I have however just treated myself to a Furygan D...

That,s
probably why those old school jackets had the double front zip. I've had everything from bike parts to fish and chips stuffed down the front of my jacket before now!

Re: Portreath today
I can only comment on how I found it, but it was fine.
That said, coming from Porthleven, I know only too well how territorial folks get. Back in the day, If anyone from Helston rode through the village it was as good as a declaration of war haha!!

Portreath today
Hi all, Being from West Cornwall originally, I decided to take the Z800 for a long one today and went from my place at Tedburn St Mary across country to Widemouth and then down the A39/A30 to Portreath. I used to hang out there 30 years ago with my girlfriend and haven't been back for years. I was p...

Re: New to the forum and pretty new to South west Cornwall
Hi there,
Whilst I live up near Exeter now, I am actually from Porthleven and still pop down quite often for a spin. I am also happy to meet up when I come down if you want.
Drop me a PM at some point and we can see if we can sort something out.
Cheers
Andy (Kresmor)

Checking back in
Hi all, I haven't been on the forum for a while, but just thought that I would drop by. I sold my Z800 and Versys 650 at the end of last season and bought a Z800 instead, although I haven't had much time to use it due to the shit weather. A letter I sent to Motorcycle Sport and Leisure was printed a...

Re: SP Motorcycles, Exeter
I took my Yamaha MT125 there as I was interested in trading it in for a nearly new machine, but the trade in they offered me was terrible. In fact it was £600 less than Bridge. I ended up trading it in for a Z300 with Chris Walker Kawasaki in Linconshire. He gave me an excellent P/X collected my bik...
